Deleting your Grove account and data

Grove lets you permanently delete your account and all associated personal data at any time. You can do this yourself inside the app, or request it by email.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (instant)

1. Open Grove and sign in.
2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
3. Type DELETE to confirm.

Your account and all associated data are permanently deleted immediately.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app, email support@gowiththeflow.io from the email address associated with your Grove account, with the subject line "Delete my account". We will verify your request and delete your account and data within 30 days.

What data is deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

• Your profile (display name and avatar)
• Your books and reading progress
• All of your reflections, transcripts, and AI-generated insights
• Your subscription and entitlement records
• Your login credentials and account record

What may be retained, and for how long

• Residual copies may remain in encrypted, access-controlled backups for up to 30 days, after which they are permanently erased through routine backup rotation.
• We may retain a minimal set of records where required by law (for example, transaction records needed for tax or accounting purposes).
