# Building in the open

GWTF now has a blog. This first post is short, because the point of a blog is the posts that come after it.

## What to expect here

Three kinds of writing, roughly:

- **Product notes.** Grove — our reflection app for readers — is in closed beta right now. As it moves toward launch I'll write about what we're building, what we changed, and why.
- **Ideas and knowledge.** Things I learn building software and AI systems — agents, data, infrastructure — that seem worth passing on. The posts I wish I had found when I was stuck.
- **How we work.** GWTF is an independent studio. Some of the most useful things to share are not features but ways of working.

## Why write at all

Writing is the cheapest way to think clearly and the most durable way to share it. A post can answer a question a hundred times without me being in the room — the same reason this site [talks to AI assistants over MCP](/): the work should explain itself.
