Building in the open

GWTF now has a blog. This first post is short, because the point of a blog is the posts that come after it.

What to expect here

Three kinds of writing, roughly:

• Product notes. Grove — our reflection app for readers — is in closed beta right now. As it moves toward launch I'll write about what we're building, what we changed, and why.
• Ideas and knowledge. Things I learn building software and AI systems — agents, data, infrastructure — that seem worth passing on. The posts I wish I had found when I was stuck.
• How we work. GWTF is an independent studio. Some of the most useful things to share are not features but ways of working.

Why write at all

Writing is the cheapest way to think clearly and the most durable way to share it. A post can answer a question a hundred times without me being in the room — the same reason this site talks to AI assistants over MCP: the work should explain itself.
